All organic wines from the Peter Mertes winery are produced in accordance with the guidelines of EU Regulation 2021/1165 and EC Regulation 2018/848 on organic farming. Beyond these regulations, it is primarily the dedication of the winemakers themselves that guarantees the high quality of the wines. The consistent avoidance of synthetic chemical pesticides and the use of natural strengthening agents for the vines actively contribute to the protection of the environment and natural resources.

Although organic wines generally do not taste different from conventionally grown wines of equivalent quality, they stand out through their unique character, clearly reflecting their origin, soil, and vineyard location. As a consumer, organic wines also provide you with the assurance of purchasing a product that meets the strictest ecological standards and exceptional quality.
